Greece: prisoner solidarity demo attacked by DELTA police near Acropolis, 11 arrested

Solidarity demo to Kostas Sakkas attacked by squads of the DELTA motorcycle police at the Acropolis

UPDATE, 13.50 People from the original solidarity demonstration are now calling people to gather at Monastiraki square.

At approximately 13:00 GMT+2, a 150-strong solidarity demo to Kostas Sakkas that was marching near the Acropolis (at Dionisiou Areopagitou Str, by the Acropolis museum) when it was attacked by the DELTA squads that had been following it to that point. It appears that 11 people have been detained

An emergency assembly has been called for the Polytechnic at 15:00.

The Sakkas appeal is meant to be judged tomorrow
